Artist Statement

I want my artwork to draw people in and encourage them to view it in a meaningful way, whether it’s my design projects, traditional pieces, or personal creations. I create for both me and others purely because it’s fun. Creating is something I am very passionate about, and it’s one of the main ways I express myself. Many of the works I create are colorful and often feature an illustrative element. I am inspired by the cute and aesthetically pleasing things that surround me. I take those inspirations and create artwork I enjoy looking at, hoping that others will feel the same way. While I have faced difficulties, I always find joy in creating in some form. I see my artwork as an extension of myself and my identity, and I plan to continually expand that gallery as I learn and grow. I hope to inspire others to start or continue creating.
